Trungpa Rinpoche had a board meeting at 1111 Pearl St & downstreet anti-war protesters had angry circle demonstrating against bombing Cambodia? Haiphong?
I asked Rinpoche "Can't you do anything to stop the war & violence?"
He replied -- referring to the meeting -- "That's what I'm doing now."
"What sound or mantra could calm the crowd? & make them more effective, less chaotic mob?"
"Perhaps 'AH'"
"Do you want to try that, I'll go with you."
"I'm working here - maybe you could go down yourself and try."
Ok I said, went down, was recognized and asked to speak, recommended calm planning (? of ?) violence, and then to quiet the crowd, led chant "AH."
